Post 6: Postgraduate Studies

I want to make a postgraduate study. I prefer study than job hahah. I think I fear job, I don’t know why.

I’m very indecisive, so I don’t know that study in the future. I like very course, like sustainability, urbanism and history (about architecture and general), but structure is a course that I would hardly learn.

If I have to decide only one course for a postgraduate, I choice first sustainability, because I could help the planet more. The sustainability is a necessity today and I like to help a little.

The second option would be history of architecture; I like so much history about modernism, for example The Bauhaus. I like to write books about architecture with architectural drawings. I would like to travel Germany, because they are modern architecture fathers. I want study a postgraduate at the University of Stuttgart, this university has Art&craft course. I like to learn about art, I think the art is an interesting evolution of humanity transversal to architecture. If the planet were not dying, this course would be my first option.

I like to study a postgraduate with a job stable, because sometimes in the job motivates you to study and pay for that. If the job doesn't pay me the postgrade, will be more difficult, because I would have to study in the night and job in the morning. The real life is so sad…😒

Post 5: My future job

Hi, today I want to talk about my future job

When I was a teen (thirteen years old), I like architecture because I liked to draw and I thought I was good, but when I was in my first year at the university I understand that my drawings are horrible (it’s so sad), my classmates were excellent with the pencil, for example Catalina Emaldia (a friend), she draw very good. In the third semester, I learnt to use AutoCAD and I like so much, because I feel like a real architect.

So now, I think my future job will be draw in the computer, I like to learn and use AutoCAD, illustrator and others programs, the programs are more easy to use for me. In addition, the sustainability is very important today, a good architect have to consider the sustainability in yours projects and personally, I like the enviroment and its care.

I will have liked to job in my home, because I like organize my time and not to depend on anyone, I like the independent job, maybe I will be had an office with a partner.

Finally, I don't leave the study because I like the theory architecture so much; the history of modern architecture and the class of urbanism are very interesting for me. I want to do a master about urbanism in other country, because I believe the architect have to know the world.

post 4: My favorite TV show

Hi, today I want to talk about my favorite TV show

I like to watch TV, I watch more than fifteen series, but my favorite TV show is FRIENDS, because I like to stay and laugh with my friends (hahah). I like to comment the chapter while we watch TV in my house.

The protagonists are Phoebe, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Ross and Joey. Monica and Ross are siblings. I believe that Rachel is the real protagonist because the story begins with her. The story happens in the New York City and they are friends that drink coffee in the Central Perk’s coffee.

Each and every one of them have singular qualities and my favorite characters are Chandler and Joey, I cann’t choose between them, they are very funny. They live together in an apartment and Monica lives next to them. Chandler works in an office (I think he’s accountant), he likes jokers and his best friend is Ross. Joey is an actor, his typical phrase is “How are you doing?” because he’s such a ladies man, his best friend (I think) is Phoebe.

My favorite episode is when Ross finds out that Chandler (his best friend) and Monica (his sister) have a relationship, because all of them know except him.

Post 3: My best friend

Hi, today I want talk about my best friend.

I met my best friend in the garden, and she was my bodyguard, because I was shy and my classmates offended me sometimes. We have known each other for fifteen years, she knows me better than my parents do.

Her name is Carolyn Avila, she live in Valdivia and her birthday is the same day than me, but she is twenty years ago and I am nineteen years ago. Her parents love me like a daughter and my parents love her too.

We went the same school for nine years, but when I was thirteen years old I moved to Santiago and we lost contact for long time. My mom said me: “You should call her, is your best friend and blah blah blah…”, so when I was fifteen years old I call her and we talk come back.

I see her all summers and we like go to the beach, because she live closes the beach.

The best memory that we have together is when we was in scout and we were cooking in the campsite. I love her so much. Xoxo.

The Best Concert Ever

Today I don’t talk specifically a concert, but I will talk the most similar to one for me, because the other “concert” (hahah) are fest of cumbia and I prefer I talk about the Show of the Queen, because is more unforgettable for me.  

I go concerts few times, but I remember when I was a child I went to the Show of The Queen in Valdivia, this show celebrate the first week of February, the most important day is 9^th February. its show last a week and I liked so much, because  I went with my parents all days, we saw the bands like The Bunker’s double, Moral distraida or Francisca Valenzuela. Normally, they artists were nationals (Chileans).

When I grew up, (I am thirteen years old), I went the festival with my friends in the night and we got together in the Casino dreams Valdivia, because the show was so close of there. In addition, I saw the floating parade, because the show was by the Calle-calle River.

I like the show and I go every years when I can, it is a tradition for me since I was five years old. Even though I live in Santiago, my father invite me to Valdivia, for that we see the Show of the Queen.

Post 1: A country I would like to visit

Hi classmates and teacher...

Today I talk about my favorite country or better say, the country I like to visit. It is difficult to choose one country, because I like to meet new countries and its cultures very much, but now I would like to visit a country in Latin America.

I think we have meet our forebears and the ideal country for this is Peru, because the Incan were the biggest culture in Latin America and they lived in Peru for a long time. Personally, I don’t know about the Inca culture, but if I will visit Peru, I could meet our history and forebear.

I will visit museums, like Museum Nacional Archeology, Anthropology and history of Peru. I will eat traditional food, because I like so much Peruvian eat. 

Finally, I will visit Machu Picchu and I would like walk for the mountain, admire the scenery and take the pictures. Of course, I would like travel with my mom and friends... I hope visit Peru someday...

Hi, classmates and teacher...

My name is Viviana Bucarey, I'm 19 years old and I study architecture at the University of Chile, this is my 4th semester in the career. I like workshop and theory classes, but I don't like maths and physics, because I don't understand so much. 

I don't know wich are my strenghts in English, I think  but my weakness is speak English in public, because I feel so nervous when someone see me for long time. I hope this semester I learn to control my nervous and I will can speak English with fluency.
